Last updated: October 2, 2026 · Controller/business: Trendly Yourself
1. Information we process
Depending on how you use Trendly, this may include business and contact information you submit; website URL, business category, service/product information, location at the city/state/country level, target audience, keywords, competitor URLs, and other audit context; session and security identifiers; audit findings and service status; billing and subscription identifiers; and information associated with authorized third-party integrations.
2. Information we do not request through the public audit form
Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, API keys, government identification numbers, customer databases, health information, or other sensitive/private information through the public audit intake. Payment information is handled by Stripe when Stripe Checkout is used.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the audit and paid service, communicate with you, process subscriptions and service delivery, authenticate requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot and maintain the service, and improve the service in ways consistent with this notice and applicable law.
4. Public website information
The free audit analyzes publicly accessible website information from the URL you submit. It may follow public links or inspect public technical resources such as pages, robots.txt, and sitemaps. The audit does not require access to private website content.
5. Service providers and third parties
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the service, including payment processing through Stripe and infrastructure, hosting, or database providers. When you authorize an integration, information may also be exchanged with the applicable provider, such as Google or Shopify, according to the integration's permissions and the provider's policies. We do not sell personal data for monetary consideration.
6. Advertising and tracking
Trendly's public audit workflow is designed to operate without requiring advertising cookies. If tracking, analytics, advertising, or other technologies are added later, this notice will be updated as required before or when those practices begin.
7. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including providing the service, maintaining security, resolving disputes, complying with legal obligations, and maintaining appropriate business records. We seek to delete or de-identify information when it is no longer relevant and reasonably necessary, subject to lawful exceptions.
8. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature and volume of information processed. No method of transmission or storage is guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Minnesota privacy rights
Where applicable, Minnesota consumers may have rights including access, correction, deletion, portability, and certain opt-out rights. Rights and exemptions depend on the law and the facts of the request. Nothing in this policy waives or limits a non-waivable privacy right.
10. How to submit a privacy request
Email Alexjacobson@trendlyyourself.me with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may request information reasonably necessary to authenticate a request. We will process valid requests within the time required by applicable law. If we deny a request where an appeal is required, we will explain how to appeal.
11. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request their personal data through the public audit form.
12. Changes
We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. The date above identifies the current version.
